Archway Cryptocurrency (ARCH)
Archway is a layer 1 blockchain that allows developers to capture the value they bring to the network. Archway is creating an ecosystem that puts developers first, allowing developers to earn income based on the volume of transactions they create on the network.
The protocol provides developers with various tools to quickly create and deploy scalable decentralized applications and immediately benefit from their use. Archway's main goal is to create many diverse and self-contained applications, giving developers the opportunity to grow with the protocol.
Evolving ecosystem
The Archway ecosystem continues to expand with dApps in a variety of categories: NFTs, DeFi, DAO, social networks, games, ReFi, key developer tools, bridges, wallets, oracles and much more.

Over 100 dApps and tooling solutions have committed to using Archway once the protocol is live. With over 400,000 contracts executed in April alone, the Archway testnet is already demonstrating a vibrant and growing ecosystem.

Tokenomics Archway
The Archway protocol aims to differentiate itself by focusing on creating an economically sustainable token for ARCH, the network's native token. Token design features are key to understanding the unique benefits of the protocol.
Using the Archway Token
The ARCH token performs four main functions in the protocol:
-
Security. ARCH is used to support Proof-of-Stake consensus and provide economic security to the network. Token holders can transfer their tokens to validators to ensure the network is decentralized and secure. In exchange for their contribution, incentive rewards are distributed programmatically between validators and stakers.
-
Management. The ARCH token makes it easier to manage the protocol. Token holders can submit governance proposals and participate in voting on the network. Only staked ARCH tokens can participate, and voting power is measured in terms of share, so the number of ARCH one shares determines their relative influence on the decision.
-
Transaction Fees. As a spam prevention mechanism, ARCHs are used to pay transaction fees on the Archway network. Fees are proportional to the amount of computation required for a transaction, similar to the concept of "gas" in Ethereum.
-
Developer income. Application developers receive a share of the protocol's revenue, which is generated through inflation, transaction fees, and smart contract premiums. This income is distributed among developers in the form of ARCH tokens.
ARCH Token Distribution
Below is a breakdown of ARCH token distribution at launch:

What sets Archway apart
Archway introduces a completely new and unique economic design that redirects a portion of the revenue from the protocol directly to the developers. There are 3 sources of income for developers:
