    Arbitrum (ARB) Cryptocurrency

Arbitrum One and Nova are based on Nitro, a proprietary technology stack. Nitro's next generation aggregate architecture delivers 7x more throughput than Ethereum and lower fees without damage to safety.

Nitro offers many improvements such as:

    • Increased throughput, 7-10 times higher after implementing Nitro.
    • Improved call data compression that further reduces transaction costs in Arbitrum by reducing the amount of data sent to L1.
    • Compatible with Ethereum L1 gas, ensuring accurate pricing and accounting of EVM transactions in accordance with Ethereum.
    • Additional L1 interoperability, including tighter synchronization with L1 block numbers and full support for all Ethereum L1 precompilations.
    • Safer retries that eliminate the failure mode when a retry ticket cannot be created.
    • Geth tracing for even greater debugging support.
    • And many, many other changes.

    STYLUS: equivalent to EVM+

The upcoming Stylus will allow users to deploy programs written in popular programming languages such as Rust, C, C++ and others, in parallel with existing Solidity decentralized applications on the same Arbitrum blockchain.

    History of the Arbitrum project

The project had a soft launch back in May 2021. By early July, two months later, it was running nearly 300 decentralized applications. The mainnet launch, known as Arbitrum One, occurred on August 31, 2021.

    Arbitrum Ecosystem (ARB)

    Wallets

< p> There are many wallets that support Arbitrum (ARB). The most popular among them: Metamask, Coinbase, Trust and MathWallet. Wallets are used to transfer ARB tokens from L1 to L2 via the Arbitrum bridge.

    Decentralized Applications

A rich collection of decentralized applications has already made Arbitrum its second home, if not the only one. Here you can find almost all the most popular DeFi, including Uniswap , Aave, Curve, DAI/MakerDAO, Balancer and many other dApps.

    Tools

The tools are mainly intended for developers to use when building their Ethereum projects on Arbitrum. The average user will most likely be familiar with the following tools: Etherscan, Tether (USDT), USDC and The Graph.

    Founders of Arbitrum

Even before the advent of Ethereum, Ed Felten began his extensive research in the field of convolution technology in 2014. After serving in the White House as President Obama's Deputy CTO, he returned to Princeton University to resume his research with Stephen Goldfeder and Harry Kalodner.

    Advantages of Arbitrum (ARB)

    1. Scalability. Thanks to Optimistic Rollups technology, Arbitrum can link multiple transactions into one. This improves the efficiency and speed of the Ethereum network.

    2. Reduced transaction fee. Arbitrum offers lower fees. This is an attractive option for people who want to avoid the high fees associated with the Ethereum network.

    3. Decentralization. The decentralized nature of Arbitrum makes the network more secure and censorship resistant.

    4. Compatibility. Arbitrum can work with other Ethereum Layer 2 scaling solutions and supports smart contracts compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).

    Disadvantages of Arbitrum (ARB)

    1. Risk of centralization. Although Arbitrum is decentralized, there is still a risk of centralization if a few large nodes control a significant portion of the network's computing power. This may lead to potential vulnerabilities and security risks.

    2. Acceptance. Arbitrum has the opportunity to improve the functionality of DApps on Ethereum, but it is still a relatively new technology. Widespread adoption may take some time as developers and users may need to become familiar with the network and its capabilities.

    3. Regulatory risk. As with any cryptocurrency project, there is always a risk of regulatory intervention. This could potentially limit the growth and adoption of the Arbitrum network.
