To register a personal or device-specific DID, store digital assets and conduct transactions, and participate in DPoS and/or Cyber Republic Consensus (CRC), Elastos ecosystem users must download and use a compatible wallet application. There are several different wallets that have been published by various community development groups in the Elastos ecosystem, and each one provides users with a unique set of capabilities. Creating an Elastos wallet (web version)< /h2>

Previously existing Elastos web wallet website, wallet.elastos. org, stopped working on August 1, 2022.
*The web wallet was launched in 2018 as the first wallet to support ELA. However, this wallet is in maintenance mode and will not be adding new features. For this reason, it is highly recommended to use all other wallets in the ecosystem.
1. Go here, click 'Get Started' -> 'Next' -> 'Create ELA Wallet'.
2. Enter your email and click 'Continue'. After entering, click 'Confirm'.
3. Click 'Backup Wallet' and click 'Next'.
4. Write down the passphrase.
5. Check the passphrase. Click 'Confirm'.
6. Review and agree to the Terms of Use .
7. Enter 'Spending Password'. Click 'OK'.
Creating and viewing additional addresses:
1. Go to the 'Receive' tab. You now have your wallet address. You can also create additional addresses as needed. Click on the address to copy it to your clipboard.
2. Go to the 'Me' tab -> 'Personal Wallet' -> 'More Options'.
3. Click 'Wallet Addresses' to see all addresses.
Creating a new wallet and backup h2>
Create a new wallet:
1. Go to the 'Home' tab.
2. Click the "+" button in the upper right corner of the wallet to go to the 'Add Wallet' page.
3. Click on 'New Personal Wallet' and enter the wallet name.
4. Click 'Create New Wallet'.
Wallet backup:
1 way. Backup using a passphrase.
1. Click 'Me'.
2. Click on the wallet name (Personal wallet).
3. Click 'Backup' -> 'Next'. Enter your password and write down the phrase.
Method 2. Backup using file export.
1. Click the 'Me' tab.
2. Click on the wallet name (Personal wallet).
3. Click 'More Options' -> 'More Options'.
4. Enter your wallet password and click 'Download'.
